Football Manager 2020 is the latest entry into the Football Manager franchise. The game, developed by Sports Interactive and published by Sega, has established itself as a legend in sports simulation. The latest entry absolutely lives up to its legacy.

In the game, you manage your Football club and handle all aspects of the season and your team. This includes all aspects of team management and player development.

The amount of options can be absolutely dizzying. The game features nearly 500,000 (not a typo) and 2,500 Football clubs. Of course, the game comes with scouting, so you have to learn how to identify talent and sign the very best players. As a result of these options, you can play at any level of team, coaching a brand new club from its beginnings to worldwide fame. Alternatively, you can take control of one of the best franchises in the world and fight to keep it there. Furthermore, you can base yourself and your team in fifty countries, each with its own unique culture and football ecosystem. Each one of these clubs and players is incredibly detailed with a slew of statistics and types. As a result, this game provides a truly faithful to the real world experience.

Once you select a franchise, you set the tone for your team. Train them, practice with them and create a vision for how you want them to play. The game's simulation engine takes over from there and determines just how successful your team ultimately will be when it plays games against others.

One of the newest features of the game is the new Development Center, which allows you to train and develop new players. Hone their talent by training them and getting them ready to become new superstars. Furthermore, the game has renovated already existing features like the Club Vision hub, which is now smarter and more streamlined that prior versions of the game. The game also expertly captures real-world concerns, like morale and team harmony.

Perhaps one of the only downsides of the game is its greatest strengths: As a result of this wide array of options, beginner players may take one look at the game, blink and throw their hands in the air in confusion. However, this isn't necessary: Football Manager has a variety of helpful options which can help players walk through the game and get started.
